About The Position

This role involves working directly with leading private equity and hedge fund firms in the alternative asset industry under the guidance and direction from experienced industry veterans. The position facilitates the service offering by assisting, performing, and reviewing key financial tasks. The Senior Associate will support IQ-EQ client leads across multiple Private Equity funds in diverse industries, collaborating with managers, teams, and support functions to meet client expectations and deliverables on time. A key aspect of the role is applying understanding of limited partnership agreements to financial reporting, allocations, and compliance. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing journal entries, fee and interest calculations, investor notices, and waterfall models. The role also involves managing audits, year-end processes, assisting with onboarding new team members, and suggesting improvements for operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least a 3.0 GPA.
• Over 3 years of experience in Private Equity or a related industry.
• Strong accounting knowledge.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to deliver exceptional client service.
• Effective, professional communication in all interactions.
• Ability to collaborate well in team environments.
• Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to consistently produce high-quality work under pressure.

Responsibilities
