Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Three plus years of financial services experience, specifically in middle office work with alternative investment funds.
  • Strong expertise in financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, bank debt, repos, options, swaps, futures, and FX spot/forward contracts.
  • Advanced knowledge of margin processes and cash projections.
  • Excellent attention to detail, multitasking ability, and strong communication skills for managing client relationships.
  • Hard-working, punctual, and personable.
  • Solid understanding of hedge funds and private equity.
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, especially in Excel and portfolio accounting systems like Enfusion or Geneva.
  • Required to work full-time in the office, applying dedication and technical expertise to support operational and client-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily reconciliations of positions and trades between client records and their prime brokers, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with prime brokers to resolve trade breaks and maintain smooth operational workflows.
  • Handle monthly reconciliations of tri-party positions, cash, market values, and accruals, while also preparing performance estimates for COO clients.
  • Review monthly Administrator NAV packages, update portfolio accounting systems when needed, and maintain fund accrual schedules.
  • Process corporate actions such as dividends, splits, and mergers for client portfolios, while serving as a point of escalation for complex issues.
