About The Position

The Senior Associate, Materials Planning is responsible for executing supply and demand planning for assigned materials and suppliers, supporting Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP), and improving planning systems and processes. The role converts planning signals into supplier actions and works with suppliers and internal partners to meet customer requirements and performance KPIs. It supports inventory health, cost-to-build (CTB), and production reliability initiatives. This is an onsite position at Carrier’s Charlotte, North Carolina office.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
At least 3 years of material planning or buying experience.
At least 2 years of experience with SAP.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Own supply and demand planning processes for assigned materials and suppliers.
Execute and support Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP).
Convert planning signals into supplier actions, including purchase orders, expedites, and de-expedites.
Drive moderate process and system improvements.
Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Sourcing, SIOP, and Inventory teams.
Manage supplier performance against delivery, inventory, and service KPIs.
Support inventory health, CTB, and production reliability initiatives.
