About The Position

DoorDash is seeking an analytical and entrepreneurial operator for its US Marketplace Growth team. This role focuses on accelerating growth within new and underserved audience segments, particularly college students and Gen Z. The position involves in-depth data analysis to explain performance, utilizing AI for reporting efficiency, collaborating with cross-functional partners to communicate performance insights, and managing a team of College Ambassadors. The Senior Associate will support new audience penetration for DoorDash's largest business unit, diving into data to understand performance at a granular level, identifying and solving campus-specific challenges, building reporting for senior leadership, generating new ideas for actionable tests or reporting mechanisms, and developing strategic plans for execution. The ideal candidate is motivated, analytical, creative, and possesses strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. The role operates in a flexible hybrid model.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience in strategy, operations, planning, or other related areas.
  • Analytical skills: comfortable diving deep into data and translating findings into tangible insights.
  • Experience using a variety of AI tools (e.g. Cursor) to improve analytics tooling.
  • Action-oriented with a bias towards action, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to lead with empathy while also holding cross-functional partners accountable for key deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Dive into data to explain performance at the lowest level of detail.
  • Think through how to solve blockers to performance at individual College campuses.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to build reporting and performance updates for senior leadership.
  • Think up new ideas and translate them into an actionable test or new reporting mechanism.
  • Drive the creation of strategic plans that drive execution throughout the business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across DoorDash to understand, report, and drive business performance.
  • Support the creation of critical strategic plans that are a roadmap for execution throughout the year.
  • Assess the performance of the USMP Marketplace to understand performance trends and drive actions based on learnings.
  • Work with other Strategy and Planning teams to deliver new tooling that will make our reporting and planning processes more efficient.
  • Partner with many teams to make your ideas come to life.
