Senior Associate, Manufacturing Engineering
About The Position
L3Harris Technologies Company is seeking an engineer to support our Manufacturing and Process team, located at our Camden, Arkansas facility. This role involves troubleshooting complex manufacturing operations for insulation components, insulated rocket motor cases, composite rocket motor components, and rocket motor assembly. The engineer will also be responsible for originating, preparing, and maintaining detailed planning (Standard Operating Procedures) for the manufacture of rocket warhead components, and performing hands-on pilot operations for new inert or energetic components and development program components and assemblies. Accurate reporting of problems, solutions, and results in written and oral communications is essential.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related major or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain a security clearance.
- Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing engineering in the troubleshooting of complex operations involved in the manufacture of insulation components, insulated rocket motor cases, composite rocket motor components, and rocket motor assembly operation.
- Originate, prepare, and maintain detailed planning (Standard Operating Procedures) for the manufacture of rocket warhead components.
