The selected candidate will analyze and design sequences of operations and workflows to improve efficiencies in plant / production facilities, and equipment layouts; establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish accident prevention measures and coach training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. The candidate will conduct studies pertaining to cost / schedule control, cost reduction, inventory control, and all phases of production record systems. Based on these studies, the candidate will develop and implement plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. The candidate may assist facilities engineers in the design and planning of facility infrastructure to support operations. Provides direct support to Hangar, Dock, and Line (HDL) through problem root cause analysis and improvement recommendations/implementation; pre-induction setup; improvement efforts directed toward workflow, work sequencing, work area layout, standardized work, development and training of metrics, and input processes to HDL efforts to ensure the safe and efficient utilization of time, personnel, material, equipment, and capital resources. Aircraft MRO (maintenance, repair & overhaul) experience preferred. Orchestrator of monthly segment financial reporting to include tracking of segment improvement projects, financial savings, progress, and status updates.
