About The Position

The Senior Associate, Manufacturing Engineer provides night shift support for rocket motor mixing and casting, implementing process improvements to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery. The role involves solving complex, multi-disciplinary technical challenges through creative analysis and prior experience with minimal oversight. Additionally, the engineer must support all onsite propellant and warhead compositions while working toward specific performance goals.

Requirements

  • Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to work 2nd shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Computer skills sufficient to generate reports and analyze data using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Minitab.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Statistical Analysis experience.
  • Understands rocket propulsion component(s) and theory of operation.
  • Experience working with Energetics and DOD contracts.

Responsibilities
