Senior Associate / Junior Vice President - Industrials - Paper & Packaging

This specific role will concentrate on the Paper and Packaging sector.
Requirements
- At least 4+ years of investment banking experience (M&A experience strongly preferred)
- Meaningful exposure to the Paper and Packaging sector; this can include Paper and Packaging transaction experience or deep coverage of companies in the Paper and Packaging sector
- Strong quantitative background and analytical/technical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
- A demonstrated team player attitude with a strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
- Top academic performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, and maturity
- Motivation to work as a team player and contribute to a positive team culture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to multi-task
- Bachelor’s degree required
Responsibilities
- Perform financial analyses and create financial models
- Prepare and create client presentations and meeting materials
- Interact with client senior executives
- Manage deal processes and diligence
- Mentor and coach Analyst bankers
- Participate meaningfully in Lazard’s coverage of the Paper & Packaging sector, including industry research, industry data tracking, and client coverage
