Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Business, Management, Economics or Energy
  • Five (5) years of experience in job offered or in a related role in the financial services or energy industry.
  • Five (5) years of experience with: Quantitative analysis and financial modelling to support strategic projects, transactions and decision-making
  • Five (5) years of experience with: Commercial evaluations, due diligence and assessments of business strategies and plans
  • Five (5) years of experience with: Market research and identification of new opportunities, initiatives or strategies to meet project or firm objectives
  • Five (5) years of experience with: Preparation of executive reports, detailed analysis and recommendations for strategic, commercial or investment decisions
  • Five (5) years of experience with: Coordination and management of external partners and stakeholders to support firm initiatives or objectives.
  • Three (3) years of experience with: Oversight of vendors, consultants, market data or research platforms to provide competitive intelligence in the energy or financial services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct rigorous financial and commercial evaluation of power solutions and strategies for Blue Owl's existing and potential investments.
  • Prepare analysis, financial modelling, underwriting and detailed recommendations to support potential power infrastructure and generation investments and commitments.
  • Collaborate with investment and development professionals to diligence power supply opportunities and business plans, and support evaluation of projects and sites.
  • Oversee vendor and consultant engagements to provide competitive intelligence related to power asset and market developments.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, such as portfolio companies, joint venture partners, market participants, and existing or potential tenants, as needed to support firm objectives.
