Role Overview: In partnership with the External Wholesaler, the Internal Wholesaler is responsible for developing and maintaining existing relationships with agents and field managers within their territory. Internal Wholesalers must be adept at identifying and acquiring new business within their territory to meet sales goals for New York Life. These sales goals would involve one of the following: Life Insurance, Investments & Annuities, Long Term Care & Individual Disability Income, or Business Solutions. In this role, The Internal will make proactive phone calls to agents in their territories to share sales ideas, provide product information, gather marketing data and offer sales support as well as identify new sales opportunities. The Internal Wholesaler is also responsible for providing case design support and product knowledge via the Sales Desk channels.
