About The Position

Vestwell is seeking an experienced Senior Implementations Onboarding Associate to act as a liaison and dedicated resource for Plan Sponsors and Financial Advisors during their onboarding to Vestwell's platform. This role involves project management, cross-functional collaboration to improve the onboarding experience, and providing expertise on plan design and training. While deep expertise isn't required, prior experience in client servicing, plan administration, non-discrimination testing, plan design, and/or 401(k)/403(b) plan conversion processing is beneficial. Strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and experience managing multiple clients and projects are also valued.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in project management and leading team initiatives end to end.
  • Flexibility, creativity, team-orientation, results-driven approach, and ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Professional experience using and optimizing internal technical operational tools (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, Asana, Google Workspace).
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning, creating, and iterating rapidly.
  • Willingness to learn retirement plan design and plan conversion processes from point of sales to release of conversion data.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary internal client advocate representing plan sponsor and advisor contacts.
  • Manage all aspects of the onboarding process from point of sale through successful transition of new plans to the platform.
  • Coordinate with financial advisors, plan sponsors, prior recordkeepers, and/or third-party administrators to determine conversion timelines, key action items, and delivery dates.
  • Communicate overall project status to both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to provide support and ensure the team meets expected service level agreements.
