About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Facility and Maintenance Coordinator to work at our Orange, VA location. This site is our center of excellence for Solid Rocket Motor Propulsion and Energetics development as well as high-complexity production programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all aspects of the Orange Business Continuity Plan, audits, customer correspondence and contracts, office layouts, relocation of office furniture, and equipment that are planned using the company’s ARBOS system, methods, and practices.
  • Responsible for contractor planning and coordinating of small facilities projects such as pest control, waste management, leasing contractors, and specialized vendors by overseeing preliminary designs and project cost estimates.
  • Plans and creates work requests to generate purchase orders in Maestro for materials, supplies, parts, and equipment.
  • Maintains all the billing, invoicing, and budget management of all active accounts for the Orange site.
  • Renew the registration for fleet vehicles that are utilized on the highways, ensuring all necessary documentation and fees are submitted accurately and on time. This includes handling the renewal process for tags and registration through the DMV. Additionally, if a new vehicle is added to the fleet, visit the DMV to obtain the required license plates and the original title for the vehicle. This process involves completing any necessary paperwork, paying applicable fees, and ensuring compliance with all DMV regulations and requirements
  • Address facility-related issues, particularly those that result in production downtime or require urgent attention. This involves promptly coordinating with and arranging for contractors to be onsite to resolve the issues. Ensure that contractors are informed of the situation's urgency and provided with all necessary access and information to perform their tasks efficiently. Maintain clear communication with both the contractors and internal teams to ensure a swift resolution, minimizing disruption to production. Document the issues and the steps taken to resolve them for future reference and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the proper use, reconciliation, and reporting of my P-card (Procurement Card) transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures. Regularly reconcile P-card statements with the documented transactions to ensure that all charges are accounted for and correctly categorized. Verify that the amounts on the statement match the receipts and invoices, and resolve any discrepancies promptly. Ensure that reports are accurate, complete, and submitted within designated timeframes.
  • Coordinate and manage the reservation of short term equipment rentals for maintenance purposes by collaborating with the maintenance team to identify specific needs and selecting reputable vendors based on availability, pricing, and service quality. Process a purchase requisition to secure the necessary funds and approvals for the rental, then reserve the required equipment. Arrange for the timely return of the equipment and review and verify rental invoices for accuracy.
