About The Position

The Students & Graduates Technology Programs (S&G Tech) team builds Capital One’s pipeline of top junior technologists by delivering high-impact programs that showcase our innovation while developing outstanding talent at the start of their careers. As the Early Career Advancement Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth, engagement, and development of interns and associates within our highly competitive technology programs. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading projects and processes in a well-managed way. They should be excited about the opportunity to influence strategic decisions using a data-backed approach. We are looking for a team player who is solution-oriented, comfortable working in ambiguity, and has effective program/process management, communication, and customer-focus skills. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources
  • At least 1 year of experience in Project Management or Process Management

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or consulting
  • Experience working at a technology company
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience in Campus Programs or Recruiting
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Slides and Sheets

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution for signature program events, including the S&G Tech Speaker Series and biannual Development Days.
  • Lead and coordinate activities for the S&G Tech Council, collaborating closely with active, voluntary associate members to drive program initiatives.
  • Manage comprehensive communications across multiple channels, including team calendars, Google Sites, email newsletters, and Slack, ensuring clarity and brand consistency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and leadership to keep all parties informed, aligned, and consistent in their processes.
  • Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting for early career advancement initiatives to measure efficacy and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
  • Develop high-quality executive presentations, manage ad-hoc communications, and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder inquiries.
