About The Position

Xavier University is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Senior Associate Director of Financial Aid, College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM), to join our Student Financial Services team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • At least 5 years in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities.
  • Wealth of knowledge of federal financial aid, which consists of a variety of complex federal regulations.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Banner and/or Workday is ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee awarding and disbursement of federal, state, institutional, and private aid.
  • Manage financial aid budgets, forecast expenditures, and optimize use of institutional funds.
  • Deliver financial aid advising, debt management guidance, and workshops to prospective, current and graduating students.
  • Maintain adherence to financial aid regulations, manage Cost of Attendance (COA), and oversee Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and appeals.
  • Supervise an Assistant Director, foster a high-performing, student centered environment, and partner with campus departments to support efficient operations.
  • Develop clear communications and produce internal and external reports on performance, compliance and student outcomes.
