About The Position

The University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry (UIC COD) is seeking a full-time Senior Associate Director of Academic Affairs to join a worldwide leader in oral health education, clinical care, and research that is patient-centered and evidence-based. The College of Dentistry is the largest oral health college in the State of Illinois, provides care for 35,000 patients a year, and has over 500 students seeking dental degrees including DMD, PhD, and Master's programs. The Senior Associate Director of Academic Affairs plays a key role in providing strategic leadership for academic programs. This position oversees curriculum development, academic grievances, student academic progress, distance learning, and the implementation and enhancement of all academic policies. This role serves as a key resource to faculty and academic leadership for the DMD, DMDAS, PG, and MS programs regarding all aspects of their progress toward professional competency.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in education, health sciences, social sciences, or a related field.
Five (5) years of increasing responsibilities in the fields of registration, admissions, and/or academic affairs.

Responsibilities
