About The Position

Orr Group is seeking a Senior Associate Director to help lead and deliver client engagements involving AI strategy, workflow automation, and implementation. The role is suited to someone with experience inside nonprofit development and operations teams who can assess fundraising systems and processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and build and deploy the automations, integrations, and AI tools they recommend. Senior Associate Directors are core members of client project teams. In partnership with a Director, who sets project direction and serves as the primary point of contact, they manage day-to-day execution and may independently lead less complex engagements. They work with nonprofit executives, development and fundraising teams, operations leaders, and technology stakeholders, carrying projects from discovery and assessment through implementation and adoption. The position combines client leadership and project management with fundraising operations assessment, technical solution design, implementation, training, and change management. It also includes supervising and mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to Orr Group’s service-line methods, business development, and internal AI and automation capabilities. The role is based in the Washington, DC, or New York City metropolitan area. Orr Group’s hybrid policy requires employees to spend at least 60% of their working time in an Orr Group office or at client sites. The salary range is $80,000–$100,000, with annual bonus potential of up to $10,000.
