About The Position

Bully Pulpit International (BPI) is an outcomes agency comprised of strategists, data scientists, and artists with diverse backgrounds in politics, brands, and government. They communicate without barriers and measure what matters, operating with over 400 team members across six countries and thirteen offices. BPI applies its expertise in strategic communications, public affairs, research, and digital marketing to develop sophisticated, customized strategies for both American and European clients, aiming to make change possible. The Senior Associate role involves taking ownership of deliverables and workstreams, driving project management, and possessing a strong depth of knowledge in their field. This position allows for proactive client service and more independent work, with the potential to oversee work product and supervise other team members. The role typically reports to a Director or Senior Director.

Requirements

  • Analyze marketing campaign performance and derive insights; review and suggest optimizations in coordination with media and buying teams; ensure proper budget management without overspending
  • Depth of knowledge and POV on owned and paid channels and landscape
  • 5+ years of experience working in an ad agency, communications agency, nonprofit or corporate communications
  • Knowledge of social media marketing on platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram
  • Experience managing and providing clear feedback to team members
  • Extremely strong writing skills with experience developing content strategy and managing social media campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate results to senior-level audiences, including experience with independently producing documents and reports consumed by senior-level audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Find meaningful opportunities for clients and help lead the development of a campaign strategy and orchestrate its implementation.
  • Draft creative campaign briefs and lead creative concept development with internal creative team, client and cross functional marketing team.
  • Provide first review of content from the internal BPI creative team and coordinate feedback from internal and external stakeholders. In some cases, has first pen on messaging and ad copy.
  • Produce and oversee high-quality client work. Manage campaigns and projects with attention to detail, without losing sight of broader strategic goals.
  • Digest qualitative and quantitative research findings and ensure they are incorporated into creative work.
  • Monitor client messaging for campaigns in market and in development, identifying proactive creative opportunities for the client.
  • Manage rapid response creative production ranging from individual video production to large scale cross-channel productions and resize.
  • Draft and manage content calendars and other deliverables such as organic and paid social landscape analyses.
  • Lead and manage various day-to-day tasks, client calls and needs as needed with the client team members.
