The Senior Associate Dean of Administration, Operations, and Services (AOS) is a member of the Administrative Leadership Team. The Senior Associate Dean is one of the principal administrative officers in the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) and is responsible for the effective management and coordination of supporting physical and logistical operations, administration, and services necessary for the COM to deliver the highest quality of medical education. This position holds direct responsibility for ensuring that the Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and the Senior Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs have access to the essential resources required to develop and deliver a curriculum that not only meets but also exceeds the accreditation standards set by COCA and the expectations of the medical profession. This is crucial for training and graduating Osteopathic Physicians who will secure placements in graduate medical education programs and support the overall strategic objectives of the COM. The Senior Associate Dean of AOS will oversee the COM’s dedicated or allocated resources in the areas such as Finance, Financial Aid, Information Technology, Registrar services, Admissions, Student Affairs, Accreditation and Professional Development, Marketing, Communications, Safety, Physical/Mental/Spiritual care, and Alumni Affairs. The Senior Associate Dean of AOS will provide for operational assistance and coordination of COM facilities to meet the needs of the faculty, staff, students and curriculum. The Senior Associate Dean of AOS will serve as a professional liaison with the COM’s students, faculty, staff and the public, ensuring that administrative, operational, and service needs are met effectively and efficiently.
