The Fund Solutions division is a leading provider of governance, proxy advisory, and solicitation services for Registered Funds, including Mutual Funds, ETFs, and Closed-End Funds. We offer comprehensive market analysis, strategic advisory, governance guidance, and campaign execution, utilizing proprietary analytics to understand shareholder sentiment deeply. The Sr. Associate, Data Analytics is an experienced individual contributor role responsible for owning and elevating the firm's data analysis function across a fast-paced, project-based environment in which accuracy, consistency, and speed of delivery are critical to client outcomes. The role requires deep expertise in synthesizing inputs from multiple sources into executive-ready intelligence that informs strategic decisions on active solicitation campaigns. This individual will be working with extensive data to provide insights. A strong command of AI tools and process enhancement is essential, as the primary mandate of this position is to work with AI-assisted reporting frameworks. The ideal candidate brings a rigorous analytical foundation, exceptional attention to detail, and professional maturity to operate with a high degree of autonomy in a remote environment while consistently delivering work products that meet the standards of senior executive and client audiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of analytical experience in financial services, with deep expertise in mutual funds or related investment products.
  • Advanced proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (Excel/Power Query required; Python, SQL, or R strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize multi-source data into clean, executive-ready deliverables under deadline pressure.
  • Strong working knowledge of AI tools and their application to data workflows, reporting automation, or process improvement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail. You catch errors others miss and hold your work to a high standard.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; comfort translating data into narrative for senior executives and clients.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, time-bound environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on familiarity with proxy solicitation mechanics and analytics.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent).
  • Experience building BI dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Prior experience at a proxy advisory, transfer agent, fund administrator, or fund company.
  • Exposure to predictive modeling or forecasting in a financial data context.

Responsibilities

  • Aggregate and reconcile data from multiple sources into a single, authoritative view.
  • Collaborate directly with the CEO and client-facing teams to translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Design and maintain standardized reporting templates and dashboards that deliver consistent, clean intelligence to executives and clients across every engagement.
  • Own quality control on all data outputs.
  • Elevate the quality, consistency, and speed of client-facing work products, including decks, data summaries, and campaign status reports.
  • Work with the firm’s AI-powered reporting infrastructure, further enhancing data ingestion, normalization, and delivery across the project lifecycle.
  • Identify new opportunities for automation and champion their transformation through intelligent tooling.
  • Maintain data governance standards, naming conventions, and workflow documentation.
  • Utilize predictive analysis to surface trends and provide data-driven recommendations that allow the firm to act before problems occur.
