About The Position

As a Senior Associate, Content Merchandising at Tubi, you’ll help shape how merchandising scales across our platform. You’ll lead go-to-market planning for high-visibility titles, partner closely with Product and Data Science to refine personalization and recommendation systems, and drive cross-functional coordination for complex projects. You will be responsible for not just execution, but for identifying optimizations, leveraging experimentation, and contributing to how human curation and machine learning come together to deliver best-in-class user experiences. This is a hybrid role based out of our Los Angeles office. You must be willing to travel to our Los Angeles office four days/week.

Requirements

  • 4–5 years in content merchandising, editorial strategy, or digital media.
  • Strong track record of campaign planning, title go-to-market execution, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, test hypotheses, and apply insights to improve user experience.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams (Product, Data Science, Engineering) on workflows, tools, or personalization systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-driven content discovery or demonstrated interest in the space.
  • Passion for entertainment, streaming, and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop merchandising strategy and go-to-market planning for high-priority titles, tentpole events, and platform-wide initiatives such as product feature releases
  • Curate and package content into themed collections, categories, and special events that reflect user interests and business priorities
  • Propose new categories or editorial opportunities based on trends and audience insights
  • Interpret and utilize data for continuous editorial improvements, and effectively communicate and document the process or results of your analyses cross-functionally
  • Manage and maintain editorial calendars, ensuring deadlines and accuracy
  • Partner with Product and Data Science to inform personalization models, test new recommendation approaches, and interpret results.
  • Analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable merchandising strategies.
  • Manage complex workflows across Marketing, Content, and Product stakeholders, ensuring alignment and timely execution.
  • Identify and implement efficiencies in merchandising workflows.
  • Contribute to the design of scalable processes and automation to increase team efficiency and impact.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitive approaches to content merchandising and personalization.
  • Contribute to metadata strategy, copywriting, and creative optimization to strengthen title visibility and user engagement.
