About The Position

As Senior Associate, Containment, you will help design and deliver the temporary infrastructure that makes venues safe and buildable for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Working with internal teams and external partners, you will adapt international requirements to local practice, advance engineering designs into construction-ready drawings, and support cost-effective, consolidated containment across venues. It is hands-on delivery work, moving designs through increasing levels of detail while keeping health, safety, and schedule at the center of every decision.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in large infrastructure integration, with specific experience in containment considered a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture, or equivalent hands-on industry work experience, is required for this role.
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering and collaboration software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and other Autodesk design and modeling tools.
  • Strong command of collaboration and document tools such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, and the Autodesk Cloud collaboration environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant US industry codes and containment activities, with strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder negotiation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with major sporting events such as the Games or World Cup.
  • Experience with temporary, pop-up, or experiential installation design.
  • Knowledge of California Building Code and relevant industry standards.
  • Familiarity with US permitting, inspections, and construction processes.
  • Knowledge of US construction suppliers and unions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams on containment technical design and development across multiple venue and infrastructure sites.
  • Adapt IOC requirements to local practice and codes, following established engineering design guides and principles.
  • Advance engineering designs through increasing levels of detail toward accurate, construction-ready drawings for build and installation.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholder requirements to develop cost-effective, consolidated, and buildable containment solutions across the program.
  • Support venue design books, technical publications, and integrated workplans aligned to the overall infrastructure master schedule.
