About The Position
This role involves working as an AI intern focused on computer vision tasks. The intern will be part of an integrated team dedicated to developing machine learning (ML) models and MLOps features for a variety of computer vision challenges. These challenges range from material inspection to ISR tactical systems operating on the edge.
Requirements
- Pursuing a masters in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field or have completed their PhD in the last 12 months, regardless of age.
Nice To Haves
- Academic experience and projects applying Python for general programming tasks and executing AI model training experiments and evaluation
- Familiarity with AI tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, TensorRT, ONNX, and MLFlow
- Experience completing software development tasks in an Agile work management framework in an industry or academic setting
- Experience with deploying AI to SOC Devices such as NVIDIA Xavier, Orin
- Experience with real-time, image processing applications
- Experience with AI model development for infrared imagery
Responsibilities
- Development of AI models for computer vision applications
- Development of applied AI for edge systems on a team in an academic setting
- Proficient in Python and able to learn and apply new technologies quickly
- Understands ontologies and the value they provide.
