Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write for a variety of audiences and communications.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with various communication channels, including digital platforms, print, and email.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
  • Highly proficient skills in using communication tools and software, such as content management systems; PolicyTech; and Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Expertise in using Microsoft Word to track and review document edits.
  • Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with colleagues at all levels, and build positive relationships.
  • Strong sense of ownership, proactive initiative, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Experience in the financial industry.
  • Writing sample and document revision required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or Journalism or bachelor’s degree and/or previous experience in customer communications or marketing.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in the financial industry (preferably marketing- or service-related roles)
  • 1-2 years project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of communication projects across all channels, including the creation, revision, and implementation of communication materials.
  • Create high-quality written content for various communication channels, including letters, emails, online content, and chatbot scripting.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice across all communication materials and platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and insights for content creation, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Create and coordinate quick responses to issues requiring remediation with relevant business, IT, and risk partners.
  • Handle multiple projects on tight timelines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for processes, programs, and products related to applicable communications.
