About The Position

As a Sr. Associate, Client Service Manager, you will manage a group of Non-Qualified (NQ) clients by independently delivering accurate and timely retirement plan administrative and client services. Independently establishes and maintains effective relationships with nonqualified clients and financial professionals to ensure client retention, growth of the client service block and profitability for all stakeholders. Embodies non-qualified core values in all interactions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience required (non-qualified retirement plan, qualified retirement plan, or financial services experience preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills required.
  • Accurate, organized, able to meet deadlines, and follow-through on tasks and campaigns.
  • Able to build and maintain good relationships within the organization.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Demonstrates ability to build proven, positive relationships with clients and partners.
  • Understands retirement concepts.
  • FINRA Series 6 License(s) or ability to obtain within 6 months required.
  • Must meet firm standards for registration within applicable jurisdictions.
  • Fingerprint – You’ll be required to become a non-registered fingerprint person of Principal Securities Incorporated (PSI).
  • 4+ years of experience in client service, financial services, or retirement plan operations is required. This can be shown through work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Solid knowledge of retirement plan administration and financial concepts, with the capability to implement procedures accurately, efficiently, and with independent judgment.
  • Experience with retirement products and services including defined benefit arrangements, 401(k), 403(b), pension risk transfer group annuity contracts, or other defined contribution offerings.
  • Ability to lead clients and internal teams through intricate plan features and procedures.
