Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking or strategy / business development at a high-growth startup, ideally in the context of health care delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, unstructured work environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills; high EQ
  • Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, with a high degree of self-autonomy and a bias to action
  • A strong passion for our mission, with a high degree of empathy for the populations we serve
  • A bachelor's degree is required

Responsibilities

  • Advance Habitat’s partnerships strategy through partner- and state-specific market research, including contribution to partner membership analyses and opportunity briefs/memos
  • Support business development cycles with potential partners, including creation of partner-specific presentation materials and financial analyses and partner project management
  • Support partner implementation and partner success efforts, including stakeholder management, metrics/KPI tracking, escalation of risks, partner expansion strategy, and more
  • Contribute to inorganic growth efforts, including assessment of potential targets and cross-functional collaboration with relevant teams (e.g., strategic finance)
  • Enable strategic projects to support key enterprise growth initiatives on an as-needed basis
  • Bring a flexible, “roll up your sleeves” mindset and an ability to own strategic business problems and structure ambiguity
