We are seeking a Senior Associate, Asset Management to join BGRE in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you will play a key role in inspiring change and continual improvement. The Senior Associate will support the Asset Management team across the West Coast region, acting as a bridge between Analyst and Associate-level contributors and VPs and SVPs. This mid-level role is ideal for professionals with 5–7 years of experience in commercial real estate, offering hands-on exposure to leasing, valuations, capital projects, and portfolio strategy. The position reports directly to the Head of West Coast Operations and collaborates closely with regional leadership to drive performance and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in commercial real estate, preferably industrial/logistics.
  • Proficiency in Argus, Excel, PowerPoint; VTS and Yardi experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
  • Familiarity with West Coast industrial markets preferred.
  • Willingness to travel across assigned regions and attend team events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead lease underwriting and financial impact analysis for new and renewal transactions.
  • Support lease negotiations and coordinate with legal, property management, and capital projects teams.
  • Conduct internal valuations and review third-party appraisals.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of annual business plans and operating budgets.
  • Oversee select capital projects and tenant improvements across assigned assets.
  • Prepare hold/sell analyses and support disposition execution.
  • Maintain relationships with industrial brokers, tenants and third-party property managers.
  • Provide analytical support for acquisitions, development, and portfolio strategy.
  • Mentor junior associates and contribute to team development.
  • Deliver periodic reporting and insights to West Coast leadership.
