About The Position

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Associate for their Alcohol Compliance team within the Strategy & Operations group. This role is pivotal in growing the Alcohol business, requiring an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive growth. The position involves defining and executing an operational compliance strategy, overseeing day-to-day operations, leading go-to-market activities for new markets, analyzing performance data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, legal, and communications to ensure socially responsible growth. The ideal candidate is motivated, analytical, a data-driven problem solver with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, eager to learn, and willing to do what it takes for business success. The role reports to the Senior Manager on the Alcohol Compliance team in the New Verticals organization and operates under a hybrid work model.

  • 2-4+ years' experience in consulting, strategy, tech or related experience.
  • High-growth or early-stage start-up experience or compliance experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize unique strategies across our three-sided marketplace.
  • Implement scalable initiatives and best practices to provide a world-class operation.
  • Own tracking dashboards and manage week over week metrics to drive safe, compliant delivery operations.
  • Build models using tools like Excel and SQL to evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of various programs and experiments.
  • Partner with teams like Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Comms, etc. to create strategic plans and harness opportunities while gaining buy-in from stakeholders and leadership.
