The Manufacturing Assembly Associate is responsible for process monitoring and optimization, quality control, documentation and reporting, equipment maintenance, training and support, continuance improvement and compliance and safety. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is part of the Beckman Coulter, Life Sciences Flow Cytometry Team located in Indianapolis, IN and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Follow engineering drawings and Manufacturing Assembly Procedures Perform electro-mechanical assembly of instrument modules Perform assembly and module integration to complete final instrument

Requirements

  • High School degree (or equivalent degree) with 3 years’ experience
  • Possess a sense of urgency, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to read and follow assembly instructions
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Using material handling equipment including hoists, hoist inspections to move parts and skids
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, walking

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing in an FDA regulated environment
  • Awareness of continuous improvement with participation in a kaizen project team is desirable.
