About The Position

Kudu Dynamics, a Leidos Owned Company, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to support the Technology Trending Solutions mission. This role involves leading the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical AI and analytics solutions within a highly governed environment. The ideal candidate will have deep experience implementing analytic governance (e.g., AVG) and AI governance frameworks (e.g., AAA), ensuring compliance, auditability, and alignment with customer and enterprise policy. The Senior AI Engineer will integrate advanced AI capabilities through APIs such as OpenAI and AWS Bedrock, and build front-end experiences using technologies like EX, AWS Amplify, and React. The position requires hands-on expertise with analytic development environments and cloud-native platforms (e.g., GMLearn, Container Yard, AWS SageMaker, AWS EKS), strong agile delivery skills using Scrum or Kanban with tools like Jira and Confluence, and proficiency with modern version control and model/code management using Git, GitLab, Hugging Face, and Bailo (or similar). A proven track record of driving AI solutions from concept through governed production deployment in sensitive, mission-focused environments is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus eight (8) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with object-oriented languages (Python and Java).
• Experience with PySpark, Jupyter Notebooks, Kubernetes, docker, Elasticsearch, GHOSTMACHINE, and Query Time Analytics.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Deep experience implementing analytic governance (e.g., AVG) and AI governance frameworks (e.g., AAA).
• Knowledge of customer corporate tools and data repositories.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with customers to build AI workflows and develop analytics based off artifacts to use AI to flag data of interest and summarize.
• Creatively leverage disparate data to fill knowledge gaps in user activities, collection efforts, and technology discovery.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical AI and analytics solutions.
• Ensure all models, data, and workflows are compliant, auditable, and aligned with customer and enterprise policy.
• Integrate advanced AI capabilities through APIs such as OpenAI and AWS Bedrock.
• Build intuitive front-end experiences using technologies like EX, AWS Amplify and React.
• Utilize analytic development environments and cloud-native platforms (e.g., GMLearn, Container Yard, AWS SageMaker, AWS EKS).
• Apply agile delivery skills using Scrum or Kanban and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Manage code and models using Git, GitLab, Hugging Face, Bailo (or similar).
• Drive AI solutions from concept through governed production deployment in sensitive, mission-focused environments.
