Senior Art Director (Future Opportunity)
About The Position
This role is contingent upon contract award. While not an immediate opening, we are actively interviewing and may extend offers in anticipation of the award, with start dates dependent upon contract finalization. As a Senior Art Director, you will lead with ideas, transforming strategy into compelling concepts that hold together across channels. You will partner closely with writers, building ideas collaboratively and refining them to be simple, clear, and impactful. Craftsmanship in typography, image, motion, and composition will be used deliberately to bring concepts to life. You will lead through your work, making decisions, guiding teams, and ensuring that the final output connects with audiences and performs in the real world. The work involves building integrated campaigns and systems that need to be cohesive across diverse audiences, formats, and constraints.
Requirements
- 8+ years of art direction or design experience
- A portfolio that shows strong conceptual thinking and visual execution
- Experience leading campaigns and partnering across disciplines
- Ability to generate and evolve ideas, not just execute them
- Strong eye for typography, layout, color, and composition
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to use tools, including AI, while applying your own judgment
