Requirements
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and document production workflows
- Confidence leading project meetings with design teams, clients, and consultants
- Proficiency in Revit
- A passion for mentoring and developing junior staff
- Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Arts or Science in Architecture, or Master of Architecture with a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Associate’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Studies, Architectural Technology, or Architectural Engineering Technology with a minimum of 12 years of experience
Responsibilities
- Guide architectural design and documentation from concept through construction, contributing to technically complex, high-performance environments.
- Conduct code and standards research to assess design options and ensure compliance
- Maintain communication with regulatory and review agencies; may participate in project interviews or presentations
- Manage project documentation including meeting notes, agency reviews, and cost estimates
- Develop project program requirements and oversee construction budgets and schedules
- Lead the production of construction drawings and specifications
- Coordinate design and documentation activities across project teams, clients, and consultants
- Ensure quality control standards are met; may conduct QC and peer reviews
- Mentor junior architectural staff and foster professional growth
- Explore advancement opportunities in Design, Technical Leadership, Sustainability, Project Delivery, and Construction Administration
