We are currently recruiting for a Senior Architectural Designer. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Calgary, Alberta.

Requirements

Experience with Process building, Modular building, Modular administration building, Modular camps would be an asset.
Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices for the control, development, and application of deliverables.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with other designers and engineers to achieve optimal drawing product .
A diploma in Engineering design and drafting or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Perform architectural design work from conceptual design through to detailed design of oil and gas, infrastructure and mining projects.
Prepare architectural design 2D drawings and 3D models based on engineering information, site data and Customer requirements for: Architectural general arrangement, Architectural details.
Prepare architectural Material Take-offs.
Provide technical support to the project team.
Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations to support official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc.
Coordinate with project engineering team and gather information from other disciplines, with knowledge of the impact of other disciplines design data on building design.
Seeks input from knowledgeable sources, considers constructability, operability, and maintainability into design.
Preparing as-built drawings, design and detailing new components from previous designs.
Work with Global integrated team (GID).
Create 3D model to Client Specifications.
Ensure objects are placed in correct hierarchy.
Ensure all attributes are set.
Complete Modeling Checklists.
Run Clash Check and resolve all clashes before submitting check prints.
Develop all necessary drawings details to ensure complete fabrication.
Complete Checklists.
Ensure drawings incorporate all engineering review comments.
Ensure drawings incorporate all Client review comments.
Ensure all drawing attributes are set.
