About The Position

Claycomb Associates, Architects, is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer in our Dallas location who will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative and sustainable architectural solutions for a variety of projects in the Dallas area. This position requires a deep understanding of design principles, building codes, and construction methodologies to ensure that all designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and compliant. The successful candidate will lead design teams, collaborate with clients, and oversee the project lifecycle from conceptualization to execution. By leveraging advanced design software and tools, the Senior Architectural Designer will create detailed plans and presentations that effectively communicate the vision to stakeholders. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• A professional portfolio is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for multiple architectural projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to integrate structural and functional elements into design plans.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, models, and presentations using advanced design software.
