Senior Architect
About The Position
WW+P is seeking a Technical and Revit-capable Senior Architect for its Toronto Studio. This role requires experience across all project delivery phases, with a focus on both design and technical aspects. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and collaborative, capable of synthesizing strong design intent with technical resolution. Demonstrated experience in preparing construction documents and delivering construction phase services for mid-rise and missing-middle housing projects, including affordable, mixed-income, and supportive housing, is essential. Experience with mass timber is a significant asset. The successful candidate will join project teams from concept design through construction, contributing strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to design excellence. Critical thinking is a core value, and candidates are encouraged to invest in projects with passion.
Requirements
- 10+ years of post-graduate experience.
- Experience in Construction Documentation and Construction Administration phases with some experience in residential typologies.
- Solid technical understanding of building construction detailing including experience in multi-unit wood construction, mid-rise and high density residential.
- Exceptional communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
- Strong in Revit.
- Strong knowledge of the OBC.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with mass timber construction.
- OAA Architect or Licensed Technologist registration (or eligibility).
- Project management experience.
- Experience with passive house and net-zero energy and carbon design and implementation.
