About The Position

Pond, an Enercon company, is searching for a Senior Architect experienced in data center design to join our growing Architecture team in one of the following Pond offices (Peachtree Corners, GA; Cumberland, GA; or Kennesaw, GA). The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of related architectural design experience and wants to lead, grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will work with our data center mission-critical business unit leaders to meet with clients and build our emerging architectural data center practice. Additionally, the candidate will prepare architectural designs, prepare scale drawings and contract documents, follow project design guides and templates, and research materials and assemble details ensuring understanding of materials and methods while mentoring junior/mid-level design professionals and supporting proposal efforts. Design projects will span across multiple clients and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to data center/mission critical design. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter and can move quickly and efficiently through a variety of design stages ranging from concept plans to construction documentation.

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited college or university as required for Architectural licensure
  • 10+ years of architectural design experience
  • Previous experience with Data Center design
  • Proficient with relevant software such as Revit and AutoCAD
  • Registered Architect License is Required
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
  • Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
  • All Pond & Company positions require participation in at least one in-person interview as part of our hiring process, and most roles also require in-person onboarding at a Pond office location; candidates should expect to meet directly with our team and should be cautious of any communication suggesting otherwise.

Nice To Haves

  • Location in metro Atlanta is preferable, but a remote position or one based at another Pond/Enercon office would be considered for the right candidate
