Role Identity is the new security perimeter. Come help manage digital risk by applying security through identity integration and controls. We are looking for a Senior Architect to join our Identity and Access Management team. This is a hybrid role on-site three days a week in San Jose, reporting to the Senior Director, ZIdentity team. You will be responsible for design and development of enterprise-grade Identity Management Products for Zscaler. You will leverage your deep expertise in IAM and public cloud environments to drive hands-on development and provide technical leadership.

Requirements

Minimum 12+ years of hands-on experience in application architecture and development using Java. Experience developing enterprise-grade Security or Networking products.
Must have strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management protocols, specifically SAML, OAuth & OpenID connect.
Expert-level technical knowledge: Enterprise Java, OOP, OOA, systems architecture, RESTful APIs, and related frameworks ( e.g. Hibernate, Spring). CI/CD (tools and processes).
Expert in Kubernetes and container infrastructure.

Experience with Java reactive programming would be a plus

Responsibilities

Practice technical leadership in design, development, and optimization of Identity platform
Define and execute the technical roadmap for IAM, ensuring alignment with business goals
Work closely with engineering teams to enhance support for Common Identity platform
