Senior Applied Scientist, Product

Moloco•Seattle, CA

About The Position

Product Analytics Data Science (PDS) partners closely with Moloco’s R&D team on its core Ads product. The Senior Applied Scientist drives product performance improvement through a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem—including supply, demand, bidding, and machine learning—and customer needs, providing data-driven insights and scientific solutions. The role involves analyzing large and high-dimensional datasets from ad auctions and user interactions, developing metrics and monitoring frameworks, evaluating the health of internal and external system components, and diagnosing system changes and issues. The scientist works with senior peers and cross-functional partners to assess infrastructure and machine learning components, implement and evaluate algorithms and features, guide modeling and product decisions, and improve the reliability, latency, and efficiency of online prediction and decision systems. Moloco is an AI-native performance advertising company. Its Moloco Ads and Moloco Commerce Media businesses are powered by CARA, its Compound Ad Recommendation Architecture.
