About The Position

International’s Truck Specialty Center (TSC) has an exciting opportunity for an Senior Application Sales Engineer. This role will report to the manager of the group and be involved with creating engineering solutions/specifications for customer needs, including design, bill of materials, and support for manufacturing and/or quality teams within TSC. In this position, you will be responsible for defining and executing solutions that meet or exceed customer needs for postproduction modifications of vehicles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of sales, product support or engineering experience
• At least 1 years of lead experience
• OR
• Master's degree and at least 3 years of sales, product support or engineering experience
• At least 1 years of lead experience
• OR
• At least 8 years of sales, product support or engineering experience
• At least 1 years of lead experience
• Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
• We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Nice To Haves

• Shop experience at a TSC location and knowledge of TSC operations
• Proven prior experience with postproduction vehicle modifications
• Fully functional in Excel and other MS Office products
• In depth knowledge of the content of International’s truck models, (medium duty, heavy duty, and severe service)
• Self - Starter

Responsibilities

• Managing relationships with national accounts and dealer sales, supporting them in developing and implementing cost effective solutions for truck modification needs for their customers
• Satisfy the needs of existing established accounts and by effectively growing the business by nurturing new accounts.
• Provide solutions that adhere to all relevant vehicle safety standards and International/Traton design standards, all while providing profitability for TSC
• Work cross-functionally with all aspects of the business including quoting work, accepting PO’s, entering an accurate description of work, required labor hours, and bill of materials
• Support material planners and manufacturing/quality engineers with sufficient detail to assist them in processing of the needed effects. We interact with every aspect of the vehicle
