Enterprise - Senior Application Engineer - Python, Django, MongoDB
About The Position
Erias Ventures is seeking an Application Engineer to join the Secure the Enterprise initiative. This role involves developing capabilities to transition from manual system security evaluation and authorization processes to a new model emphasizing automation, streamlined processes, continuous monitoring, and network data gathering throughout a project's lifecycle. The Application Engineer (Backend) will be responsible for the development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of Python-based ReST endpoints, microservices, and data model management capabilities using Django and Flask frameworks. This role will interact with data models stored in MariaDB or MongoDB and provide data in JSON format to UI front ends, offering middleware and backend support to all system applications. Partial telework may be permitted for this position.
Requirements
- Current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance.
- Twelve (12) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED.
- Ten (10) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree.
- Eight (8) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree.
- Six (6) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree.
- Four (4) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and sustain Python-based ReST endpoints.
