About The Position

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Senior Application Developer to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of enterprise-scale software development principles, application frameworks, and Agile and hybrid development methodologies.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable software solutions in collaboration with Business Analysts and Systems Architects.
• Proficiency in web application development using Java, JavaScript, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, SOAP, REST APIs, and web-based APIs.
• Knowledge of low-code/no-code development platforms, BPMN, and business process automation tools such as Appian, Salesforce, and Nintex.
• Ability to design and implement APIs, third-party applications, programming libraries, and automated business processes.
• Experience developing applications using Microsoft SQL Server and .NET development environments and integrating enterprise software solutions.
• BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Business or related discipline
• Five (5) years minimum total work experience in development.
• Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) in order to support LowCode/No-Code Development Platform models.
• Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools.
• Developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models,
• Experience using software tools such as Appian, Salesforce, Nintex, etc. with Microsoft SQL Server databases and Microsoft .NET development environment.
• Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.

Responsibilities

• Develop software based on requirements developed by Business Analysts to meet the business solution needs at enterprise, large-scale level.
• All work is within the application development framework used by the organization.
• Work performed by the Application Developer is in collaboration with a Business Analyst to meet the requirement of fulfilling the client's goals to implement the business solution.
• Proficiently execute the work using the tools and techniques implemented for the project needs.
• Work directly with Systems Architect to develop and implement new third-party applications, tools, and programming libraries to meet the business development goals of the client.
• Utilizes web-based software such as Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, Javascript, SOAP, REST API, mobile development, and Web Based API in the build out of software applications.
• Other duties as assigned
