About The Position

Lead the design, development, modernization, and support of enterprise middleware and API integration services supporting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This position will provide technical leadership for enterprise integration solutions utilizing Java-based technologies, IBM webMethods, and cloud-native architectures. Candidates must be eligible to obtain IRS Staff-Like Access following contract award. Personnel requiring access to IRS facilities, systems, or Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) information must successfully complete the IRS personnel security process before beginning work. This includes: IRS suitability determination, FBI fingerprinting, Background investigation (SF-85/SF-85P, as applicable), Tax compliance verification, U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency verification, and Execution of required Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and IRS security forms. Strong preference for candidates with IRS or Federal Government IT modernization experience. Experience with enterprise Java development, APIs, middleware, OpenShift, and microservices will be highly competitive.
