About The Position

Diverse Agile Solutions (DAS) is seeking a talented Senior Application Developer / Engineer / Programmer to support the development and enhancement of the Currency Data Accountability Platform (CDAP) —a critical application leveraging modern AWS cloud technologies . This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact federal project, contributing to a secure, scalable, and data-driven platform in a highly regulated environment .

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of software development experience in Agile environments
  • Strong experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Programming & Frameworks: Python Angular (TypeScript) or React
  • AWS Services & Cloud Technologies: AWS Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB AWS CDK or Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) AWS API Gateway, Load Balancer AWS S3, SNS, SQS AWS Athena, AWS Glue
  • DevOps & Tools: Git / GitLab CI/CD pipelines Docker (containerization)
  • Monitoring & Logging: AWS CloudWatch AWS CloudTrail

  • Experience working in regulated or federal environments
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and microservices
  • Ability to balance development, operations, and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services
  • Build backend services using Python and deploy infrastructure using AWS CDK (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Model and orchestrate workflows using AWS Step Functions
  • Develop containerized applications and integrate RESTful APIs
  • Build responsive front-end applications using Angular or React (TypeScript)
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and auditing using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail
  • Support CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes
  • Perform code remediation, debugging, and unit testing
  • Contribute to system design, architecture decisions, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality solutions
