About The Position

DigitalCM is seeking a Senior Apple Developer to help architect the next generation of our software platforms. This is a senior technical position for an engineer capable of moving between Apple development, artificial intelligence, spatial computing, networking, security, backend architecture, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Advanced Swift/SwiftUI expertise and strong software architecture background.
Experience shipping production Apple applications.
Strong networking, API, and database knowledge.
Git-based development, API integration, SQL/local data and CI/CD experience.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
Comply with the provisions of the corporations Standard Practice Procedures manual and DoD 5220.22-M when handling classified material to include generating, marking, storing, handling, and destroying of classified material

Nice To Haves

Spatial Computing experience using Vision Pro and Quest
VisionOS, RealityKit, ARKit, RoomPlan, Metal, LiDAR, GIS, and 3D graphics.
Local LLMs, RAG, machine learning, and edge computing.
Cybersecurity, Rust, Python, C/C++, or related systems technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop applications spanning iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Lead Swift/SwiftUI development.
Develop RealityKit/ARKit-based immersive experiences.
Integrate local LLMs and other AI/ML capabilities.
Design offline-first and edge-computing architectures.
Integrate secure local databases and backend services.
Establish testing, security, and code-quality standards.
Conduct code and security reviews.
Mentor junior and intermediate developers.
Diagnose difficult engineering problems and help transition prototypes into production-quality products.
Work directly with company leadership and customers on advanced technology initiatives.
