Senior Analytics Analyst - Finance and Accounting

The Senior Analyst will play an instrumental role on the data and analytics team tasked with driving significant improvements to our finance and accounting function by identifying opportunities for automation, process optimization, and data analysis. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst who is deeply passionate about analytics, with an extensive background in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytical techniques to drive strategic insights and optimize financial performance across the organization. Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related analytical role within a large and complex organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics).
- Demonstrated expertise with one or more financial consolidation systems (HFM, OneStream, etc.)
- Demonstrated expertise with one or more budgeting and planning systems (Oracle EPM, Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, etc.)
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Leading and executing complex financial analyses using modern analytics tools to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and support strategic decision‑making.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining models that enhance financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams—including Finance, Accounting, and IT—to deliver actionable business insights and automate workflows.
- Translating large volumes of financial data into clear, concise reports and visualizations for executive leadership.
- Staying current with emerging trends in analytics and financial technologies to recommend innovative solutions for business challenges.
- Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Mentoring and supporting junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and analytical excellence.
