Prepare and conduct chemical and/or physical analyses as defined by existing work instructions on routine and non-routine samples using analytical instruments. Use SPC principles to verify quality of data, recognize and address data trends. Document, process, transfer, and review analytical data to ensure completion, conformity, traceability, and validity and support production and other internal/external customer needs; Take corrective action when necessary. Maintain instrumentation, tools, chemicals, and consumables required for product testing purposes. Effectively troubleshoot instruments and resolve any hardware or software issues. Verify the efficacy of samples and ensure that all samples and chemicals are properly stored or disposed. Lead projects and efforts to foster continuous improvement of new or existing testing methods and practices. Assist in ensuring proper Laboratory cleanliness to support high quality trace-level data. Compile and present data and presentations to communicate data and other relevant information for continuous improvement, method development/validation, and other projects. Assist management team with data investigations, and secondary data review as needed. Assist management with internal and external audits. Work on cross-functional teams as the analytical subject matter expert. Train other personnel to analyze samples or perform other laboratory tasks. Follow and improve safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly environment (5S Guidelines).
