Serve as a Senior Analyst for the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering Scaled Directed Energy (OUSW R&E SCADE). Responsibilities include assessments for directed energy capabilities, analyzing DOTmLPF-P requirements, products, and assisting the development of solutions. Assist in ensuring planning and operational equities are integrated with DOTmLPF-P solutions. Interact with PAE Fires, Army, Navy and Air Force Directed Energy departments, the Scaled Directed Energy Office representative to COCOMs as required to fulfil planning and integration. Job also includes DOTmLPF-P integration, advocacy for Warfighter requirements, and facilitation of the Integrated Product Teams (IPT) for: Directed Energy Programs of Record. Liaison as directed with stakeholders to facilitate integration and coordination in support of the SCADE mission; assist integrator and planning for Directed Energy to COCOMs. Support additional plans, products and requirements as identified by the SCADE. Responsible for assisting program lead with assessing, preparing, and providing mission short- and long-range goals, mission and personnel calendars, objectives, and initiatives to be presented to senior leadership. Attend and participate in organizational staff calls, stand-ups, office tag-ups, working groups, ad hoc, IPTs or similar venues; assess action items from meetings and engage in the resolution process; and propose responses to inquiries based on actions assigned. Prepare notes or after-action summaries, track actions items, and making recommendations on response for closure. Work with material developers to maintain situational awareness and progress of instrumentation build, testing and utilization of one-off characterization equipment. Take part in meetings/briefings, ensure information is passed between the material developer and the government customer. Assist with daily operations and prioritization of events based on known activities or guidance provided such as synchronization and integration of events and activities for the division through coordination, consolidation, and collaboration of information. Maintain operations calendar and provide recommendations to resolve issues or conflicts; coordinate impacts and changes, receiving direction from senior program specialist for non-routine matters. Create, compose, consolidate, and review documentation, e.g., correspondence, briefings, response to inquiries, and talking points for correctness, format, spelling, and grammar before sending out for approval or signature. Draft response to taskers, RFIs, and other key stakeholders. Support program updates and assist in developing executive-level briefings, including accomplishments, impacts, risks, issues, and challenges, etc.; coordinate documents, e.g., white papers; conduct pre-meetings to prepare and distribute read-aheads; and secure approval of documents within read ahead timelines prior to submission for executive forums. Assist with special projects where multiple functions are involved, coordinating actions, clarifying responsibilities and timelines for completion, and consolidating data, as necessary, and reviews to ensure accomplishment of objectives, timeliness, and acceptability. Consistently developing and sustaining cooperative working relationships. Advise ACM in acquisition functions and processes, Army functions and processes and interaction with Senior Leaders.
