About The Position

Constellation is seeking a qualified professional to join its Retail Operations team as a Senior Analyst. The role leverages subject matter expertise in daily work processes, handles complex issues and escalations, and supports communication and change management within the work group and with internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Analyst drives process improvements and system enhancements, often in collaboration with project groups, Information Technology, and cross-functional teams. The position executes order-to-cash operational activities, including customer enrollment, contract and confirmation processing, billing and pricing data management, cash application, and third-party payments. It ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely service delivery. Travel may be required as business needs dictate, and in-person attendance is expected for training, all-hands meetings, and other meaningful engagements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with peers and internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to obtain and analyze large data sets and reason through complex scenarios to suggest actions or remediation.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
Analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and independent decision-making.
Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams, from individual contributors to multi-member groups.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to make accurate and timely decisions under tight deadlines.
Ability to independently investigate issues, identify root causes, and engage appropriate stakeholders to drive resolution with minimal managerial oversight.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the retail energy industry and/or regulated or deregulated energy markets.
Experience using CRM and/or order-to-cash workflow systems.
Working knowledge of UDC/ISO/LDC market EDI transactions.
Advanced technical acumen in SQL, business applications, and emerging technologies.
Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and proactively mitigating potential risk.
Lean Six Sigma certification.

Responsibilities

Communicate proactively and resolve system or process issues; foster collaboration, support change management, and work with internal and external customers to enable knowledge transfer, problem resolution, and a strong customer experience.
Drive process innovation by defining business requirements, collaborating with IT and cross-functional teams, leading user acceptance testing (UAT), and supporting and coaching team members through testing.
Investigate process discrepancies, evaluate alternatives, and collaborate across teams to implement solutions that resolve customer issues.
Maintain knowledge of business, contractual, regulatory, and market policies; align workflows with SOX key controls and company standards.
Use knowledge of internal systems to monitor functionality, identify issues and variations, and recommend improvements aligned with business and technology objectives.
Investigate customer and process issues, determine root causes, evaluate alternatives, and select and execute corrective actions.
Execute order-to-cash activities, including customer enrollment, contract and confirmation processing, billing and pricing data management, cash application, and third-party payments.
