Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree) Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Economics and/or a master’s degree in Accounting, Tax Technology, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science or related field
A minimum of three years of relevant experience
One of the following certifications: CPA, EA, JD, Master’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, information systems or engineering, Quantitative Economics or Quants
Exposure to the financial services industry, accounting/finance/tax, tax or finance performance improvement, tax software development and/or implementation

Responsibilities

Assist with efforts to improve operational effectiveness within tax functions.
Support process and controls reviews.
Evaluate technology solutions that enhance automation and data quality across tax processes.
Assess risk and control environments.
Contribute to the design and implementation of custom tax applications.
Play an important role in helping to deliver impactful projects for our clients.
Identify and escalate program and project-level risks and issues.
Coordinate with functions outside of Tax.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and monitoring them until completion, including documenting requirements, configuration, testing, debugging, project profitability, and tax systems and process configuration.
Take ownership of analytical initiatives and exercise sound judgment when making technical and business decisions.
Work effectively under pressure while adhering to strict deadlines.
