About The Position

As a Senior Analyst within our Canadian Value and Access team, you will play a leading role in the delivery of market access, HTA and health economics projects for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. You will work alongside Team Heads, Consultants, Analysts and Project Coordinators to deliver high-quality projects that support reimbursement and access decisions across Canada. Projects may include the development of HTA submission packages for CDA-AMC and INESSS, writing up economic evaluations and budget impact analyses, reimbursement strategy, evidence generation planning, value communication materials and other market access deliverables. You will work closely with clients throughout the project lifecycle, including regular interaction over email and in meetings, providing strategic input and ensuring projects are delivered to an exceptionally high standard and within agreed timelines. Senior Analysts are central to the quality of project deliverables and play a key role in training, mentoring and supporting more junior colleagues. Responsibilities include reviewing work, providing constructive feedback and contributing to the ongoing development of the wider project team. As part of Costello Medical's growing Canadian presence, you will primarily work on Canadian projects but you will also have the opportunity to work on international value and access projects with colleagues in our global offices.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience delivering relevant project types within an agency setting.
  • A degree level or higher qualification in a scientific discipline (minimum GPA 3.3).
  • At least 2 years’ professional experience in a consulting, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or public sector role where you analyzed and communicated health data in different formats for key stakeholders.
  • Strong scientific writing skills with the ability to tailor writing style to different audiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high degree of written accuracy.
  • Excellent proficiency in written English and arithmetic.
  • Excellent data presentation skills, including the ability to use Excel, PowerPoint and Word effectively and efficiently to produce a professional, high standard of work.
  • Sufficient technical and strategic knowledge to provide clients with recommendations on project content and approach.
  • Experience in communicating directly with clients or key stakeholders, including responding to different communication styles, as well as a proven ability to build robust and sustainable relationships.
  • The capacity to maintain exceptional customer service and quality of deliverables under multiple competing demands.
  • Project management skills to enable timely project delivery.
  • The ability to motivate colleagues and take a leadership role in the delivery of project components.
  • Experience in reviewing and providing constructive feedback on junior colleagues’ work, with the aim of supporting them to develop high quality deliverables.
  • Must have the right to work in Canada independently from the company.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in HEOR within the Canadian setting, such as working on HTA submission packages to CDA-AMC and/or INESSS.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and contribute to a wide variety of areas.
  • Ability to familiarize yourself with new information quickly.
