About The Position

As a Senior Analyst, Product Safety, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and safety of Walmart’s product assortment, with a focus on children’s products and consumer goods with regulatory requirements. You’ll leverage advanced agent-based technologies and automation tools to verify product safety documentation, lab test reports, and regulatory certifications. Your efforts will help protect customers, support compliance, and drive continuous improvement in our product safety processes. This is a temporary and onsite role at our Bentonville, AR home office. The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00 The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Responsibilities

  • Agent-Driven Verification: Utilize AI agents and automation platforms to review, interpret, and validate product safety documentation, including laboratory test reports, certificates of conformity, and regulatory submissions for children’s products and other high-risk categories.
  • Document Review and Analysis: Assess incoming compliance documents for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with federal, state, and international product safety regulations.
  • Risk Assessment: Collaborate with compliance and product development teams to identify and escalate potential product safety risks or documentation discrepancies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Partner with technology, compliance, and business stakeholders to refine agent workflows, enhance document verification accuracy, and streamline the end-to-end compliance process.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide subject matter expertise and training for cross-functional partners on agent-supported document review and product safety best practices.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports on verification outcomes, trends, and areas for process improvement.
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Collaborate with team members to understand evolving product safety requirements, especially those related to children’s products, and proactively adjust verification protocols.
